American Idol 2014 Top 9 Theme Revealed

Many viewers have been down on American Idol 2014, but I still find this to be leagues better than last year, with a far more diverse array of talent, and some much better themes. Or, at the very least, some wider themes...

Tonight, we find out which singer gets the ol' heave-ho, but will the surviving contestants really have cause to be relieved, or will next week's theme be the toughest yet? I'm going to take a stab and guess it's somewhere in the middle, as the Top 9 theme has been announced, and it's yet another in this season's long list of perplexingly vague and non-committal themes. Of course, I find the vagueness to be a good thing, since it opens up a wealth of interesting song possibilities. Check out the full details below via The Idol Pad:

For the fifth week of the finals, the theme is Loved One Dedications.

So what do you think of this theme? Will this be another week of ballads? Will Majesty Rose continue to confuse everyone as to what kind of artist she is? Will Dexter Roberts continue to...be? Sound off in the comments!
