American Idol 14 Spoilers: Top 24 Leaked in House of Blues
The American Idol XIV Season 14 Top 24 contestants have been revealed in the House of Blues in Los Angeles this week!
According to American Idol Net, the Showcase Week performances for the 2015 season were taped at the House of Blues Sunset.
For a complete list of contestants check out our American Idol Contestants page.
This partial list was compiled by a source at the House of Blues as Keith Urban introduced them and the photos were taken by contestant Lovey James. The list was released by MJ's Big Blog.
UPDATE: A source e-mailed me this morning that this list from MJ is mostly wrong -- so just take it with a grain of salt at the moment. MJ usually has great sources, so who knows. Hopefully, our usual source for spoilers, The Idol Pad, could confirm this list soon.
UPDATE 2: (December 14, 2014) MJ has already UPDATED her list again adding and removing some names, LOL. I think I'm going to hold off for the moment. You don't spoil a Top 24 then remove names right? THIS LIST IS NOT ACCURATE! She just added Noah Gray-Cabey who played Micah on Heroes! LOL
UPDATE 3: (December 15, 2014) After posting a scoop that some contestants were disqualified, MJ just deleted all her posts. (Typical)
UPDATE 4: She posted an apology. Good for her! Looks like she was trolled. But honestly, that was obvious to a lot of us watching. Aside from the earlier e-mail, I had a couple of friends tell me to look at what's happening on her Web site. I didn't have the heart to tell her because she hates me. Glad she snapped back to her senses.
Screencaps for posterity:
Keith Urban explained the showcase to reporters this week (via Billboard):
One change this season that had Urban pumped took place this week. The segment, called "The Showcase," put the top 48 in front of a live audience at Los Angeles’ House of Blues. A band was set up, he said, and the remaining contestants each got to perform a song in a club — something the show has never done before.
Are you guys excited? I think this is going to be another amazing season. One of these names will be the next superstar! Recent winners Candice Glover and Caleb Johnson are going to have to watch their backs.
UPDATE: FOX has released the official video of the Top 24!
