American Idol 11 Top 6 - Queen Theme - Song Suggestions
The American Idol Top 6 will be taking on the songbook of Queen (as well as an additional song of their choice) this week. Nigel Lythgoe, of course, tweeted to clarify that the contestants will be singing two songs, but only one of which will be a Queen song. The other song will be absolutely anything the contestants choose. Wide open themes are always the best way for these kids to pick something in their wheelhouse.
Anyways, I sat down with my Spotify playlists to choose songs for the Top 6. As a rock theme, Hollie will have the toughest time finding the right song. There are some great big ballads she should pick, but let's hope she doesn't go off the tracks and attempt to rock out.
