American Idol 11 – Final Judgement Part 2 – Live Blog Recap
Well. Last night was awesome. Tonight, we get the rest of the reveal of the Top 24 of American Idol 11. Honestly, they should have had only singing yesterday and the reveal tonight. I felt like most of the contestants' performances have either been ridiculously short or we didn't get to see them at all. As a fan, I really wanted to see why some were cut over others. But, I digress. In case you missed it, here is my live blog recap of last night.
Tonight, I will be live blogging the final reveal. I promise to keep my snap judgments shorter. Heh. Next week, we move on to the LIVE SHOWS. I'm so excited! So, check back often for my thoughts on the talent. Are you ready?!
This...is AMERICAN IDOL!
Last night, we were left with a lackluster cliffhanger. Adam Brock...really? I just can't get into this guy.Dramatic opening. It's 6 PM and Adam waits for the verdict.
Green Mile Decision: Adam...........makes the Top 24!!!!!

Next, is Jeremy Rosado! Eh. This guy is fodder. Plain and simple. He's singing "I Know You Won't" by Carrie Underwood. LOL. Good luck dude. NO ONE can do a Carrie song justice. The judges, of course, eat this up. Meh. He holds an awkwardly long not at the end.
Green Mile Decision: Jeremy......makes the Top 24!!!
Here is his Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
16-year-old Shannon Magrane is up next! She's good. Sometimes I feel a lack of emotional connection to her material. I attribute that to her being so young. She sings Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is." Hmm. It was OK, didn't blow me away though. She deserves a spot though.
Green Mile Decision: Shannon.......makes the Top 24!!!!!!! WOO!!!
Here is her Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
Scott Dangerfield is up next. He's no stranger to this. There's been alot of hype, and I see peeps on Twitter talking about him all the time. I think he's singing "Folsom Prison Blues." Eh. Not impressed.
Green Mile Decision: Scott.......does NOT make the Top 24!!!
Now we have a montage of people we don't know get CUT!
Skylar Laine is up next. This is the 4-wheeler girl from her audition package. She's singing "Fancy" by Reba. Ohhh. Cool choice, but at times I felt she was pushing too hard. Her voice isn't that strong compared to all the other girls. Fodder! OK, Randy, she is not a young Reba. I think she should have picked a Miranda Lambert turn.
Green Mile Decision: Skylar......makes the Top 24!!!
Here is her Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
Hallie Day makes the Top 24!!!! Chase Likens makes the Top 24!!! Aaron Marcellus makes the Top 24!!!
Here is Hallie's Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
Here is Chase's Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.

WHAT??? No performances from them??? LAME!!! This is why ALL performances should have been yesterday. Sigh.
Deandre Brackensick is up next. He's cute and has a good voice. LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN! He's singing Maxwell's "This Woman's Work." Sometimes, I wish he wouldn't linger so much in his falsetto. He needs to show range, but I do applaud seeing such control.
Green Mile Decision: Deandre.........makes the Top 24!!! GO GO GO!!!
Here is his Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter. Check out his performance HERE.
Jermaine Jones is up. He's a momma's boy. Aww. He has a nice low voice, but he hasn't really shown that much "awesomeness" as a few of the other guys have. He's singing "I Believe in You & Me" by Whitney Houston. RIP.
Green Mile Decision: Jermaine...........does NOT make the Top 24!!!
Shelby Tweeten--who auditioned in Aspen--and Ariel Sprague--who we don't know at all--are up, along with Hollie Cavanagh. Hollie sing's Carrie Underwood's "Change." And...I'm not hating it. We've seen her in past seasons, and this girl is good. She's got a big voice and a nice tone.
Green Mile Decision: Hollie........makes the Top 24!!! Obviously, the other two girls had no shot in hell in making the live shows.
Here is Hollie's Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
We are down to the last two boys--who also happen to be the youngest contestants. Eben Franckenwitz and David Leathers take the last Green Mile walk. Who will it be??? OMG. David sings Jackson 5 and Eben sings "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker. OMG. Honestly, I couldn't care less. In a few years, these kids' voices will change.
Green Mile Decision: David.........does NOT make the Top 24!!! Eben........makes the Top 24!!!
Here is Eben's Facebook" target="_blank">Facebook and Twitter" target="_blank">Twitter.
Well, folks, we have our Top 24!!! Are you excited for this season? I have to say, a girl just MIGHT win this year. If it's meant to happen, it's this year. The girls are so much stronger than any of the guys. Check out the full Top 24 list HERE.
OMG TWIST: One of these guys will be reinstated to make a Top 13 guys: Richie Law, Johnny Keyser, David Leathers, Jermaine Jones!!!!
OMG. Who deserves that extra spot?!
