I have to be honest. The act of downloading then listening to these tracks is torturous. But we have to finish what we started.

Haley Reinhart

I Who Have Nothing

Best live performance, best studio recording this week.

Earth Song

This is Haley's worst recording of the season. It didn't go anywhere. I really poor song choice from her.

James Durbin

Love Potion No. 9

This works for James. He sounds like a rock singer here. Good for him.

Don't Stop Believin'

This song is so played out really. It's such a self-indulgent song choice -- but something James' fans will love. Didn't do anything for me.

Lauren Alaina

Trouble

This was good. Lauren should really show more confidence on stage and in interviews.

Anyway

I really wish Lauren performed this better live. This was a great song choice for her.

Scotty McCreery

Young Blood

This was a fun track! But only for the fans.

Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)

A great song choice. Very timely since Osama Bin Laden was just killed a few days ago.

Will it make Scotty a country superstar? Can Scotty cross-over to pop-country if he wins?

Bah. Really didn't look forward to listening to these. Now to listen to 'Friday' by Glee.
