By Cassandra Rose ·

To the surprise of no one who has watched teasers for the mini-series American Horror Story, the newest one that surfaced for the newest incarnation American Horror Story: Freakshow is super creepy.

And even more surprising: super fake.

The teaser had tons of people excited for the upcoming season of the show (which returns in October) but FX has confirmed that the video is nothing but a very good fake.

Said video features a fallen angel at a circus side show and a devious looking clown that will invade our nightmares for forever.

Hey real AHS, you have some big creepy fake clown shoes to fill.
