Amber Tamblyn Promoted To 'Two And A Half Men' Series Regular After One Episode

Could it be the quickest promotion in recent TV history? If not, it's certainly up there.

Amber Tamblyn has been promoted to series regular on hit CBS comedy Two And A Half Men after only one episode, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Tamblyn plays Jenny, the illegitimate lesbian daughter of Charlie Sheen's deceased character, Charlie Harper. In the premiere of the sitcom's latest season, Jenny moves into Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) beach house -- and girl-on-girl jokes started flying in no time (this is a Chuck Lorre sitcom and all).

Tamblyn basically serves as a replacement for Angus T. Jones, who has been downgraded to a recurring role after a YouTube video surfaced online last year in which the titular 'half man' bashed the series.

Two And A Half Men airs Thursdays at 9:30 PM ET on CBS.
