Amazing Race - We Should Have Brought Gloves and Butt Pads

Highlights:

In Ghana, the teams help with renovations in the school. Yay!

The teams go to Sweden!

Connor and Jonathan leave first. Team Jumba leave last.

Michael and Kevin (Team Jumba) team up with Gary and Mallory and switch their flights to an earlier connecting flight in Frankfurt. Team Doctors and Team Home Shopping Network also team up and switch to the same earlier flight. The four teams sprint in Frankfurt airport to catch the connecting flight. They all make it. Woohoo!

The other five teams end up on the second flight about 2 hours later. What a great move from Team Jumba -- so impressed.

First Stop: Ice Hotel

Team Jumba hit a speed bump for finishing last last week -- they have to sit on a block of ice for 10 minutes. Ouch.

The teams translate a message in Swedish to go to a dog training area. Amazingly, Team Jumba end up first place here.

Next Stop: Mush dogs

(This is the point where Jill and Thomas from the second flight fall to last place and contemplate using their Express Pass.)

Next Stop: Ice sled or build a tent

Team Jumba go for tents, while the rest of the first teams go for the sleds. All four teams arrive at the pit stop before the groups on the second flight.

In the second group, Jill and Thomas use the Express Pass to get out of last place and straight for the pit stop.

Team Newly Dating, Team Glee and Team Volleyball team start with sleds but end up switching to the tents. Team Body Tattoos go for sleds and nail it on first try.

Pit Stop Results:

Team Doctors arrive in first place. Wow. Weren't they last at some point a couple of weeks ago? Team Jumba arrive fourth! Yay.

Connor and Jonathan were the last team to arrive and were eliminated. Oh no!

It was the day of their graduation in Princeton and they thought it was a fitting that they also graduated from the Amazing Race that day.

I will miss Team Glee! They didn't fight at all -- that was nice to see. They should have gone for tents immediately. Darn.
