Amazing Race: Unfinished Business - This is the Most Stupid Day Ever (Lijiang, China) - Recap

Summary: The race continues in Lijiang, located in the Yunnan Province of China.

On the Amazing Race, from Japan to China!

No race for planes because of limited availability - except Kent and Vxysin got lost going to the airport and missed the flight!

The first flight left at 9:50 AM, and Kent and Vxysin left on the 3:30 PM flight.

The teams must find a way to Lijiang from Kumming. Most the teams took a train, but Kent and Vxysin took a plane the next day. Will they catch up?

First stop: Jade Dragon Mountain

Route info: Ride a Yak!

The teams were so affected by the high altitude.

Road Block: Search for Zodiac Charms (look for the 12 animals)

This was easy! Except Zev couldn't find a rabbit... and Kent and Vxysin actually caught up with them! Wow.

Next Stop: Old Town Lijiang

Ron and Christina end up riding a shuttle instead of a bus. Ron freaks out! Good thing the Globetrotters were kind enough to stop their bus while Ron and Christina ran to them.

Route info: Make a wish on your Chinese zodiac sign.

The Globetrotters did not know their signs, LOL.

Detour:

Hammer - Make candy!
Horn - Pick up a horn, and lead a procession!

Ron was more interested in eating Chinese food than completing the challenges, LOL. No wonder they keep on taking the wrong things -- he's so distracted.

Pit Stop: The Eternal Tower

Results:

Margie and Luke were the first team to arrive! They won a trip to Aruba.

And then shocker: They're still racing! OMG, Kent and Vxysin still have a chance -- however, they left their fanny pack in the gondola ride going down and they only discovered it when they were in the shuttle bus. Oh no! The most stupid day ever!
