Amazing Race: Unfinished Business - I Feel Like a Monkey in a Circus Parade (Kolkata, India) - Recap

From China to India on the Amazing Race.

But first, the teams go to a tea shop in China to taste some Papaya Mango tea. This will be used in a challenge on another leg of the race.

The teams then fly to India. They all arrive together at 1 AM and discover that there are so many people in airport! Omigosh. And the taxi drivers are reckless!

The teams had to wait for a couple hours before the Town Hall opened at 10 AM.

Road Block: Tea tasting!

The teams must find the tea they tasted in China among hundreds of cups of tea! OMG. So hard.

Ron and Christina breezed through it, and the Cowboys were second! Their technique: smell instead of taste.

Luke broke down tasting tea. Awwww. He clearly had no clue what he was looking for and was just drinking and hoping he got lucky. Really not a good strategy.

The teams head to Tiwari Tea Stall - but India is so confusing and there's a lot of traffic.

Detour:

Hindi Art - Adorn a statue, or
Bengali Literature - Deliver school books

Pretty straight-forward challenges but there's just a lot of traffic and people in India, it can get confusing.

The teams then head to the Pit Stop: Fountain of Joy.

Results:

Gary and Mallory were team #1! They won $20,000 from Snapple plus a feast. Wow.

Cowboys #2, Ron and Christina #3, Zev and Justin #4, Kent and Vyxsin #5, Kisha and Jen #6, Globetrotters #7

Margie and Luke were the last team to arrive and were eliminated from the race.

So sad. They lost it on that one tasting challenge.
