Amazing Race - Season 19 Episode 3 - Don't Lay Down on Me Now (Indonesia)

It's the third leg of the Amazing Race.

Challenge: Colonial Bike Ride

The teams then take taxis to a restaurant in Salamakang Village. (Omigosh, this show is all about taxis, sigh).

Detour:

Rice Field - Deliver midday meal, and plant rice seedlings

Grass Fed - Fill bags with grass and pick up two sheep plus water chore

The teams head to the Temple

Borobudur Temple (wow, it's amazing!)

Road Block:

Count Buddhas and demonstrate the hand positions of the Buddhas.

Team Father and Son and Team Snowboarders formed an alliance to solve the challenge.

The other teams had no idea whet they were doing initially.

Team Snowboarders actually helped Team NFL Couple (who were last to arrive at the temple) with the hand signals -- but they weren't paying attention.

The other teams ended up sharing information with each other as well...

Results:

Team Father and Son arrived first but they had a time penalty because they used four buckets instead of two in the detour water chore.

Team Snowboarders ended up first, and they won a trip to Dubai.

Team Showgirls were the last team to arrive and were eliminated. Apparently they couldn't run fast in the final rush to the finish line.
