Amazing Race - Run, Babushka, Run

On the Amazing Race... from Norway to Russia!

The teams travel by car, train and plane to St. Petersburg, Russia.

All of them took the same train to Stockholm (Sweden, btw) -- and the teams were able to bond. When they got there, Chad and Stephanie couldn't find a taxi to the airport. But there was only one flight to St. Petersburg, so no harm.

At St. Petersburg the teams were instantly in awe of the architecture -- I would be too, the city looks awesome. Better than the "look it's trash" reaction to Ghana.

First Stop:

Detour: Classical Music or Classical Cinema

Music: Match music from a gramophone with a pianist
Cinema: Search a film clip from Oktober from a pile of film

This was a tough challenge!

Team Jumba chose cinema because Kevin "has experience making videos" LOL -- but he was surprised to see film strips on the floor.

Team Home Shopping network got unlucky with their taxi -- they get lost -- but were able to catch up somehow and finished the film challenge second.

Jill and Thomas also chose film and were first to finish.

Team Father Daughter, Team Doctors and Team Tattoo gave up with the music and did the film challenge.

Chad and Stephanie were the only team that stuck with the music challenge -- but they were able to complete it -- ahead of the teams that went for the film.

Team Tattoo however, gave up on the film and returned to the music -- and were able to complete it after some concentration.

Pit Stop: St. Isaac's Cathedral

Jill and Thomas finish first and win a trip to Brazil. Team Home Shopping Network was second.

Team Jumba had a chance to finish first, but Kevin didn't listen to his dad and refused to go to the park near the chathedral. Oh well.

Team Tattoo finished last. But it was a non-elimination leg and get to race another day.

Next week: It looks like Team Jumba might be eliminated as Michael can't throw a stick. Oh well.
