The Amazing Race 23 - Premiere Recap and Results - We're Not in Oklahoma No More

The Amazing Race Season 23 results! Two Express Passes are at stake as the teams travel to Chile.

Leg 1: United States to Chile

Results

Nicole and Travis arrived first but they read the last clue wrong. They took a taxi cab instead of going to to the finish line on foot. They incurred a 30 minute penalty. (The results of this show always hinges on taxi cabs I swear.)

Tim and Marie arrived second, and since Nicole and Travis had a penalty, they became Team #1. They won an Express Pass for themselves and another Express Pass to give to another team before Leg #5 of the race. That's a really great prize which also helps with strategy moving forward.
