Amanda Overmyer - American Idol Top 12 - Cast Party

Rickey's favorite nurse Amanda Overmyer on the American Idol Top 12 cast party

The clock is ticking on when Amanda Overmyer will exit American Idol. I think that disastrous performance with that lion's head hairstyle has affected Amanda Overmyer's mojo. I hope that American Idol rewards Amanda with a week where she can truly showcase her husky vocals because she's been a great sport. Last Wednesday, it looked like Amanda no longer wanted to be on the show -- she wasn't smiling -- and she knows that it's all a matter of time.

But the time is not yet here Amanda. Just hold on for 2 more weeks and you can make it to the Top 10 and the American Idol tour -- I would definitely come out to see you!
