Alison Krauss & Union Station Countrify the Simpsons' Theme Song

By Jason ·

As the Simpsons gear up to celebrate their 500th episode, titled "At Long Last Leave," 27-time Grammy winner Alison Krauss (along with Union Station) have dropped a very unique version of the classic TV theme song. The episode is set to air this coming Sunday, February 19, on FOX

Peppering in some major banjo action, Alison and her band re-invent the track in a great way. As a huge Country fan, I'm really diggin' this. I'd like to hear a jazz or disco version. Heh.

You can listen to it here.
