Disney Finalizes 'Alice in Wonderland' Sequel Cast, Begins Filming
The Alice in Wonderland sequel, Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass is about to move into the filming stage, with Disney firming up the cast.
On the returning side is Mia Wasikowska (Alice), Johnny Depp (the Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter (the Red Queen), Anne Hathaway (the White Queen) and Matt Lucas (Tweedledee and Tweedledum).

Several voice actors will also be coming back for the Disney continuation, including Stephen Fry (Cheshire Cat), Alan Rickman (the Caterpillar), Michael Sheen (the White Rabbit), Timothy Spall (Bayard), Paul Whitehouse (the March Hare) and Barbara Windsor (the Dormouse).
Brand new actors joining the project include Rhys Ifan (Zanik Hightopp, AKA the Mad Hatter's father), Sacha Baron Cohen (Time), Ed Speelers (James Harcourt) and Toby Jones (Wilkins).
While Tim Burton will not be directing, he will be producing, which means that Danny Elfman will still be on hand to handle the music.
The story itself will take Alice "back to Underland—and back in Time." The film hits theatres on May 27, 2016.
