Alexandra Burke suffers less than stellar debut on UK Albums Chart
It is a sad, sad day to be a fan of Brit talent Alexandra Burke.
Heartbreak on Hold debuted at #18 on the UK Albums Chart this week. This era for Burke seemed promising when the albums lead single "Elephant" reached #3 on the UK Singles Chart. Then it all went to heck when "Let it Go" only debuted at #33. Burke has said numerous times that UK radio has not supported her like they did during her last go-round. Luckily Burke still has a good fan base, but even they could not pull her out of this. Hopefully Burke can still release a good single and the third time will be a charm. Burke's talent is one of the UK's top and she is too good for her not to be successful. One of the main problems people have with Burke is her music. Honestly, her music is generic. If anything people want Burke to be urban and soulful but for whatever reason she loves dance pop music. You got to do what you got to do.
