Alex Wong - Conference Call - So You Think You Can Dance

I survived another SYTYCD conference call!

Again, I was having some technical difficulty in the beginning, but I managed to figure out how to press *1 on my computer. (I should video myself doing this really -- added entertainment).

Anyway, Alex Wong answered questions from the media today. You can tell that everyone on the line was feeling bad for him.

Most of the questions centered around Alex coming back to the show or not next year. He said that it all depends on the surgery he has this Tuesday and recovery . He said he wanted to come back because he felt his journey wasn't finished yet and he still had a lot to learn.

I asked him if he was definitely inclined to return to the show again next year (since he felt strongly about returning). He said however, that he will need to give it some thought since you commit yourself for an entire year to be on the show -- and that he will have to go through Vegas again and not sure if you will make Top 20.

I wondered if he would be back for the finale this year, and he said he would hope to be at least in the audience, depending on his recovery after surgery.

When he got injured, he thought that he landed on something on the floor, but when he saw that the surface was flat, he knew something was wrong.

So happy I got to do this -- I feel like a media person.
