Alex Trebek burglar claims she was at hotel for prostitution

Lucinda Moyers, who burglarized Alex Trebek's hotel room last July 26, claims she was at the hotel as a prostitute to meet a john. LOL

Nice try on the public humiliation defense! Can it be that Mr. Trebek was on a midnight tryst gone wrong?

The Jeopardy! host however had been sleeping in the hotel room with his wife when the burglary occurred so this claim is bogus in my opinion.

Lucinda Moyers said she was looking to score the night “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek’s San Francisco hotel room was burglarized — but not in the way prosecutors might think.

The woman accused of sneaking into Trebek’s Marriott Marquis room as he slept alongside his wife July 26 told her attorney she is a prostitute who was in the hotel then to meet a john. She said she never entered Trebek’s room and ran from him because she didn’t want hotel security to know her true purpose for being there.

Moyers is accused of stealing $650 in cash, a wallet and a bracelet from Trebek, who was in town filming the National Geographic World Championship at Google headquarters in Mountain View.
