Alex Preston, Sam Woolf and Jessica Meuse land on iTunes Top 200 Chart

Alex Preston is on the iTunes Top 100 Charts again with his original song "Fairytales". He's currently at #36.

This is the second time Alex has led the American Idol contestants in the charts.

Two other Idols made it to the Top 200:

#109 Sam Woolf "Lego House"
#116 Jessica Meuse "Blue-Eyed Lie"

Congratulations!

This is good news for Idol as it proves that the franchise can still sell singles.

So it looks like Alex Preston is really the true front-runner. Caleb Johnson and Dexter Roberts are good for TV since the Idol-faithful just love those guys, but they can't sell singles at all. Caleb and Dexter's songs this week are languishing in the Rock and Country iTunes charts respectively.
