Alec Baldwin's Alleged Stalker Sent to Jail

Genevieve Sabourin, the woman on trial for allegedly stalking actor Alec Baldwin was sent to jail by a judge for contempt of court. And no, she did not pass go or collect $200.

It was a messy day in court yesterday (Nov. 12) and today was even worse.

This morning in the Big Apple, Sabourin repeatedly interrupted her attorney and even yesterday while Baldwin was testifying she had multiple outbursts, reportedly calling him a liar with "lying disease" (burn?) and claiming that he had been harassing her for years.

The whole reason they are in court in the first place is because Baldwin, who cried while on the witness stand yesterday, says Sabourin was stalking and harassing he and his wife. For her part, Sabourin claims she met Baldwin in 2002, they had dinner again in 2010 and he slept with her after.

Her argument for speaking out of turn to the judge today was that she's French-Canadian and has translation issues. An excuse the judge didn't buy.

He charged her with contempt of court instead and sentenced her to 30-days in jail for her behavior.

Chung-chung.
