Aladdin on Broadway - First Look Photos

Entertainment Weekly

Hello. The First Look photos at Disney's Aladdin on Broadway have been released!

The first set of pictures features a glimpse at the main characters on stage. Adam Jacobs will be starring as the character Aladdin. Adam previously played the role of Simba in The Lion King on Broadway.

He looks good in that vest!

Jasmine will be played by Courtney Reed, James Monroe Iglehart as the Genie, and excitingly, Jonathan Freeman will play Jafar, the role he played in the Disney film.

Aladdin will join other Disney favorites that have hit the Broadway stage in the past including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and of course, The Lion King.

It has been absolutely impossible for me to get tickets to The Lion King but I would love my first Disney Broadway show to be Aladdin.

Will you be seeing the show?

Aladdin debuts at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre beginning February 26th, 2014.
