Agnel Wins Gold - Lochte Shut Out - Men's 200m Freestyle - London 2012 Olympics - Medal Results
It was Yannick Agnel who passed Ryan Lochte in the final leg of the 4x100 relay last night to claim the gold for France. He did it again in tonight's Men's 200m Freestyle, claiming the gold at the London 2012 Olympics. Lochte finished fourth and out of the medals. Read on for the rest of the results.
Lochte and his talk of coming out of Phelp's shadow and taking his place as the new king of the pool was the big story coming into these games, however Yannick Agnel is emerging as one of the game's biggest stars. Agnel crushed the field in the 200m Freestyle winning by the second largest margin in history. Lochte was never really in the hunt for gold and finished fourth. His best events are yet to come.
