Afternoon Edition Links - 12/27/2009

Okay, so I'm finally working on stuff for the blog, after lazing around during the holidays, and of course after moving to a new apartment a couple of weeks ago. I feel productive!

Don't forget to check out the American Idol Season 9 TV Schedule here

Now for some links:

"Avatar" leads box office for second weekend (Reuters) - Sherlock Holmes was "predicted" to win based on Friday's numbers but it looks like Saturday's numbers changed that.

Plane Hero Wants Cash for Interviews (Daily Beast) - Hmmm. Can someone be a hero and an a$$hole at the same time?

Cheryl Cole - Parachute (YouTube) - Video featuring Derrick Hough. A bit late with this link, but I liked this. (Thanks Don!)

Danny Gokey sang the National Anthem at the Green Bay Packers game today (Twitter) - OMG we need video!
