Adrianne Palicki Joins 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2
One of the stars of Friday Night Lights is headed for the Marvel Universe: Adrianne Palicki is joining the cast for Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Palicki will guest star as Marvel super spy Bobbi Morse, better known to fans as Mockingbird. Palicki will make her appearance in the fifth episode of the new season, with an option for the role to become a recurring one as the season progresses. However, while she's no villain, that doesn't necessarily mean she's on the side of Agent Coulson as his team either.
Of course, the irony in all this is that, several years back, Palicki was actually tied to the DC Universe. She played the lead role in NBC's Wonder Woman pilot for David E. Kelley. She also notably starred as Nadia in The WB's failed Aquaman pilot. Hopefully, her streak of bad luck in TV superhero projects ends here. I suppose we'll find out when Adrianne Palicki makes her first appearance in the fifth episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, which premieres Sept. 23 at 9:00 PM ET on ABC.
