Adina Porter Upgraded to Series Regular on 'True Blood'

Good news for fans of Lettie Mae on True Blood. Adina Porter, who plays the struggling mother of Tara's character, has just been upgraded to a series regular role for the final season of True Blood.

The actress, who also appears in HBO's other drama series The Newsroom, must have a big arc coming up. With Hep V rapidly spreading, many fans have been speculating that she will spread it to Tara in the new season.

Adina Porter has appeared as Lettie Mae Thornton in the vampire series since season 1 so we're curious what the writers have in store for her when True Blood wraps up next year.
