Adele's '21' Predicted to Notch a 23rd Week at #1 on Billboard
How do so many people still not have this album? Don't get me wrong, Adele's 21 is a superb record, and I'm happy for her. There must be millions of people who've lived under rocks this past year.
Experts are predicting that the powerhouse could move 200,000 more copies by week's end on March 4. Holy cow. Last week, her album moved 297,000. Geez. GO ADELE!
From Billboard:
Adele's "21" album seems on course to spend a 23rd week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, so say industry sources. The set could sell over 200,000 by week's end on Sunday, March 4.It will likely keep Whitney Houston's "Whitney: the Greatest Hits" at bay, which has been No. 2 on the Billboard 200 for the past two weeks. This past week, Houston's album moved 174,000 (down 1%), while "21" sold 297,000 (down 59%).
