Adele to perform on The X Factor UK Finale

The X Factor UK has booked Adele for the grand finale at Wembley Arena.

The Daily Star reports that "Simon Cowell was desperate to get Adele on the show." Why do they always write that Simon is desperate? How can someone on the top of his game be desperate?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. Wembley Arena seats 12,500 people so the grand finale will be a really big event this year.
