Adam Lambert saw a 74% drop in sales on second week and other Idol chart news
The new gay activists can spin the news all they want, but Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" saw the biggest drop of all the albums in the Nielsen SoundScan Top 200 last week -- when the overall number was just off 14%.
Adam sold 51,000 copies which included 4,000 digital which is an 88% drop from the first week. In fact, David Archuleta outsold him in digital sales last week (5,000 for "Christmas from the Heart") -- and might continue to do so because of the holiday season. And according to Hits Daily Double, Justin Bieber outsold Adam as well selling 64,898 copies. Justin Bieber new gay activists -- chew on that for the week.
Meanwhile, Allison Iraheta debuts somewhere in the mid-30's on the charts with 32,000 copies of "Just Like You". This is a far lower number than any of us predicted here on the blog.
