Adam Lambert Pre-Idol Album - And Yet Another Annoying Press Release from Predatory Producer
Here we go again! HiFi released another response in reaction to Adam Lambert's latest statement on the Pre-Idol album being released this Summer:
"We apologize for what has become a tiresome tit for tat, particularly on a day that we mourn the loss of a truly original, game-changing entertainer, but unfortunately, each statement released in Adam’s name contains a different story. We remain steadfast in our assertion that we seek only to share the music Adam wrote, according to plan, so his fans know the depth of his talent and see that he will be handsomely rewarded for his work."
You can read the full statement at MJ's Big Blog where HiFi also claims that they have a signed recording contract with Adam dated Feb. 12, 2008. Wait? Adam had a recording contract in 2008? How long was it good for? Adam couldn't have auditioned for American Idol if he had an active contract!
At any rate, the Michael Jackson reference was just ridiculous. What kind of air are they breathing over there? It's like reading one of Brandon Roger's tweets about how his musical career is mirrored by Michael Jackson's music. It's like everything in life has all of a sudden MJ's signature on it -- like me writing: "I sat on the toilet seat this morning... and it was a thriller."
Bottom line: HiFi attempted to market this album has Adam's "debut album" and "Want" as his "first single". That's not true. These were demo tracks and unfinished tracks recorded as early as 2005. It was deceptive marketing and Adam and his fans are not buying it.
Again: DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM
