Adam Lambert leads Kris Allen on iTunes Album Sales

Adam Lambert's "Season 8 Favorites" album is leading Kris Allen's "Season 8 Favorites" and "iTunes Pass" on iTunes.

This kinda contradicts the single downloads chart where Kris Allen is leading, and the only logical conclusion I can glean from this is: Glamberts are completists. LOL

So there are more single-buying Kris Allen fans than there are album-buying Kris Allen fans. Yay! Most of us our teenagers with limited disposable income, so I can see why this has happened.

So given the choice of Mad World and the album, a Glambert chooses the album. For Kris Allen fans between Heartless and the album, they choose Heartless.

If forced to decide which chart to use as a barometer for popularity, I would choose the singles, and in particular sales for "No Boundaries" which is independent of the "Season 8 Favorites" albums and no overlap. Unfortunately, it's an unfair contest: there is no easy way to find Adam Lambert's No Boundaries except by searching for it. So here's the challenge: Let's get No Boundaries by Adam Lambert into the Top 10 and I will be convinced that Adam is more popular. It is already a testament to the Glamberts' fighting spirit that they've brought this track to #20 without an easy link to click to. If they really want to send American Idol a message they should bring this track to the top of the charts.
