Adam Lambert kisses a fan during a concert

Adam Lambert kisses a fan during a performance of 20th Century Boy at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, RI last August 17, 2010.

Isn't this dangerous? Does anyone know if Adam knew the fan or was he a total stranger? You can get herpes from kissing among other things. I wonder if Adam will do this every night now.
