Adam Lambert Debuts at #3 on Billboard 200
Adam Lambert debuts at #3 on the Billboard 200 with 198,000 copies of "For Your Entertainment". He beats Kris Allen's sales of 80,000 copies last week. He also beat David Archuleta's opening week sales of 183,000 last year. How much Adam will sell in the coming year is up in the air. Despite massive promotions and a high-profile performance at the AMA awards, Adam's singles have not seen widespread radio airplay. He's also switched the carrier single to "Whataya Want From Me" instead of "For Your Entertainment" which he sang at the AMAs.
