Ace Young - Grease Performance Tickets and Dinner with Ace Auction - Priceless

I was a little disappointed that we didn't win this auction, but it's comforting to know that we can self-regulate. Everything was fine yesterday evening, until 15 minutes before closing, a panicked bidding war ensued.

At 5:26, the highest bid was $2,300 for 4 tickets to Grease and Dinner with Ace Young. At 5:46, a reserve price of $3,000 was triggered. Then FIFTEEN MINUTES later, the winning bid was $5,700! Unbelievable. I'm sure that neither of the two bidders thought the auction would reach that high -- if they did, they would have bid $5,000 outright. In the end, they were bidding just to win against each other -- like a pissing match with each other's savings account. (Yes I am bitter that I am not that rich... or foolish.) You can see the insanity play out here in the last frantic minutes.

Congratulations!
