Ace Young - Denver's Children Hospital Chair Award
Denver's Children's Hospital held their annual awards banquet last week, and American Idol Finalist Ace Young was awarded their highest honor "The Chair Award". Ace has been a champion of children for the past 9 years, singing every Christmas at the hospital and helping raise money for children's charities around the country. Ace's father, Jay Young accepted the award on Ace's behalf. He spoke emotionally about the special bond Ace has always had with kids, mentioning that Ace even met with sick children in several cities while on the Idol Summer Tour. Jay thanked Ace’s fans for their unwavering support of his career, as well as starting the charity "HighRollers With Heart", which is raising money to furnish the new Families Amenities Area being built at the hospital.
