Writer, actress and comedienne Jennifer Saunders has confirmed there will be an Absolutely Fabulous movie. Once she gets around to writing it.

Saunders revealed her intentions with an AbFab movie poster teasing the year 2015 which appeared online last week. AKA the year that all the movies came out.

"There isn’t [a movie] but there will be," Saunders told the British talk show This Morning. "I’m close to picking up a pen, that’ how close it is."

Co-star Joanna Lumley, who also said the movie was on its way at some point teased the film back in October, saying, "I think with a little bit of, not too painful, pressure, a little bit of vice-like grip and a Chinese burn on the arm, up behind her back, I think it’ll happen."

"Jennifer tends to work to deadlines, so we’ve got to create a deadline and then get her there."

So there you have it, the British sitcom about off the wall besties Patsy and Edina will eventually hit the big screen someday. Maybe. Probably. Possibly.

Eh, we'll believe it when we see it sweetie, darling.
