Abi Alton - Can't Get You Out of My Head - The X Factor UK - Full Video

Abi Alton sang “Can't Get You Out of My Head” on The X Factor UK 2013 Live Show 2.

Oh my God, I want to marry this arrangement. I just love it. With that said, I'm not sure I can say the same about the actual vocals or the performance itself. The business with the umbrellas was a bit distracting, and once again, Abi's vocals were perfectly lovely during the verses, but fell apart during the choruses. Abi seems to generally lack control once she gets into her higher register, and that could become troubling as the competition wears on. As much as I like Abi and the whole Lisa Loeb thing she's got going on, I'm really not sure I'd have put her through over Melanie McCabe. (I promise I'll let that go, eventually) On the plus side, Abi did this song a thousand times better than JTR on The X Factor Australia, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar to clear.
