ABC picks up Kevin Hart comedy

ABC has picked up a comedy series based on a stand-up act of actor & comedian Kevin Hart! If the series goes forward, Hart is likely to recur on the series. Details:

According to THR, the network has committed to a half-hour comedy project based on one of Hart's stand-up acts. The comedy, from Community's Neil Goldman and Kevin Donovan (who will write and EP with Dave Becky), "takes a candid look at the post-divorce life of a couple trying to forge a friendship for the sake of their kids, despite their differences."

While Hart doesn't plan to star in the series, if it moves forward he will likely appear in a recurring role. Hart has had an amazing past few years and he's just getting bigger. His series, Real Husbands of Hollywood season 2, is returning later this month.
