The Secret Life - Which Way Did She Go - Recap
Bristol Palin guest stars
It seems life is never dull for Amy as this week, a rumor goes around school that she's pregnant again. I can't see any logical reason that the rumor started other than bitchy students like to gossip and apparently, you can't go away for a few weeks without having something growing in your uterus. Amy's got bigger problems (as usual) when Bristol Palin shows up at her door to be a creepy NYC "Buddy." And also to inform Amy that the music program isn't as prestigious as she originally thought. Well, it is, but everyone in the program is also a teen mother. Amy's bragging rights disappeared faster than the smile on her face. I'd laugh but I feel bad for her. Back home her sister Ashley is busy being a crappy sister. That's right, Ashley and Ricky finally kissed.
Grace hasn't stopped proving she can't mind her own business and continues to fret about Adrian making a choice about her own life. She tries to guilt Adrian again using babies at a church day care but Adrian isn't having it. Tom apparently moved out of the house already and into the guest house which I have to say, is nicer than most homes. Jack is hiding out up there and secretly moving in with Tom. He and Tom accidentally eat some pot brownies left behind by a homeless guy and pass out in a chair high and with the munchies. It's really hilarious.
Adrian finally makes the decision to tell Ben she's getting an abortion the following day and Ben sinks into confused depression. He doesn't know what to do with himself or what the right decision would be. With the encouragement of the Sausage King, he decides he wants to go with Adrian when it gets done but Adrian only wants her mother there. Understandable. But her parents are driving her crazy disagreeing about abortion. Adrian runs away to Ben's to get away from them. Ruben finally stops being a stubborn douche and apologizes to his daughter as his wife drives her to the clinic.
What do you guys think? Did she go through with it? I hope she did but the previews worry me.
Make It Or Break It - All or Nothing - Recap
Nastia Liukin guest stars
Tensions are running high as the girls head to France to compete in their next competition. Lauren and Kaley take their frenemy status to the next level with Lauren spilling the beans about her and Carter. A new possibly future villain shows up in the form of Austin Tucker. A playboy gymnast who will probably mess with Kaley's heart in the future. But until then, they need to focus on the upcoming meet and Peyson needs to focus on getting herself back on the national team. That means staying in the hotel at all times.
Lauren senses an opportunity to get herself back into the competition and off of the alternate bench with this new rule. She encourages the other girls to break the rules and gets her window of opportunity when Emily proves how easily manipulated she can be. Lauren convinces her to take a train to Paris to go see Damon before his performance with Green Day. Can I just say how ridiculous it is to believe that guy would open for GREEN DAY? Whatever. Emily says goodbye to Damon and makes him cry and tries to head home. Little does she know that Lauren switched her ticket so Emily is now stranded in Paris with no money and no ticket. Austin Tucker shows up to save the day and take her back but it's too late. Lauren tips off Beals and Emily is caught and suspended from the match.
Lauren gets her wish and gets to compete. Her dad is just like her. Conniving on his own to become president of the parent's board. Part of his campaign is convincing everyone else to get rid of Sasha (HELL NO) and hurt the feelings of Peyson's mom. Bastard. She's under enough stress. Peyson has always been stubborn and today is no exception. She goes against the advice of Sasha and decides not to wait to petition herself onto the team. She's not as prepared as she could be for the audition and her petition is denied. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO :( I love Peyson. Nastia liukin shows up as a judge of the competition where Kaley is awarded the gold and Lauren is awarded for her backstabbing with a bronze medal.
