Earlier today, ABC pulled Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 from its schedule, leaving many to wonder about the fate of the comedy series that has gained a considerable cult following. The network had started airing additional Sunday episodes of the comedy, along with its Tuesday slot-mate Happy Endings, as a move that, publicly, seemed to be for the purpose of building interest in the series though, privately, appears to be the network's way of burning off the remaining episodes as quickly as possible.

And now, it would seem that the worst fears of the show's fans have been confirmed, as star Krysten Ritter tweeted the following:

my beloved fans, sad to confirm that it is true. Don't Trust the B--- #apt23 has been cancelled. thank you so much for your support i love u
