ABC Announces Winter Premiere Dates for 2015

Later this month, and early in December, many of your favorite ABC shows will be going on hiatus as the holiday season -- and its roster of specials and events -- take over the schedule. But when will the shows return? And when will the new midseason offerings premiere?

First, the newcomers: Galavant, the fairy tale musical comedy featuring songs penned by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas), will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 8:00 PM ET. Marvel’s Agent Carter, the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D spinoff centering on Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) circa 1946, will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 9:00 PM ET.

As for returning dramas, ABC confirmed winter premiere dates for the following dramas:

Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder will return on Thursday, Jan. 29. Meanwhile, Once Upon A Time will return on Sunday, March 1, followed by Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on Tuesday, March 3.

No specific return dates have been announced for Revenge, Resurrection or Castle, but all three dramas are expected to return in early January. So you won't have to wait long to get back to cancelling plans to be in front of the TV. (Or setting your DVR in anticipation. You know, either one)
