4-year-old girl distributes hundreds of packets of heroin at Delaware day care

A 4-year-old girl brought hundreds of packets of heroin to her day care and distributed them like candy, the Delaware State Police said on Tuesday. Her mother, 30-year-old Ashley Tull of Selbyville, has been charged with child endangerment and maintaining a drug property. She was released on $6000 bail last Monday.

As an emergency precaution, children who were given packets of heroin were sent to the hospital. None of the packets were opened.

Police said that the girl unknowingly brought the heroin to the day care center when she switched backpacks. She had 250 packets of heroin with her labeled "Slam".
