2 Million Visitors

Sometime early morning Thursday while I was sleeping, rickey.org registered its 2 millionth visitor since I started my SiteMeter on April 1, 2004. A milestone that passed quietly since we've been frantically blogging about our favorite show American Idol (among other interesting things) all week.
I must admit that I'm very tired, since not only have I switched to super-blogger mode, I've also been very busy with my offline life of freelance computer repair -- calling MSN for a lost e-mail password, installing a multi-function printer, installing a router, getting a call again that the multi-function printer is not working -- you know, the mundane stuff that help pay the bills. I even managed to squeeze a power-lunch date with my friend Jimi Sweet last Wednesday, and a mini-high school reunion last Sunday (the coldest day of the year in New York City). Add my weekly visit to my therapist last Friday, and my life is complete! Hahaha.
Thank you again for visiting. I've noticed that you have been telling your friends about me, so thank you. (Hello to our 932 visitors from Singapore, 186 visitors from Brazil and 2 visitors from Kazakhstan!) I appreciate all the e-mails and nice comments here on the site. I cannot always accomodate your "requests", but I appreciate you e-mailing me nevertheless.
May I just request the you guys not fight in the blog (disagree but not fight) since it makes me very nervous, and I'm a nervous wreck as it is when Tuesday and Wednesday come around. I also understand that the site is very slow these days when posting comments due to the incredible number of visitors, but I can't seem to find a fix at the moment. Please be patient when you post a comment and just press the post button once -- I've been expriencing the long wait as well and it sucks. Sometimes I just want to bash my head into my iMac, but I can't do anything about lag (and that would be expensive).
Anyway, it's been really fun so far, and I hope we all have a great time for the next couple of months (and beyond).
