Petitioners Want TLC to Cancel '19 Kids and Counting' for Anti-LGBTQ Beliefs

TLC has already cancelled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo because Mama June might be dating a man who molested her own daughter (a convicted sex offender) and 19 Kids in Counting may be next.

The latest TLC show to come under fire is the reality series centered around the uber religious Duggar family for their anti-LGBTQ sentiments.

Said petition popped up on Change.org to "end LGBTQ fear mongering by the Duggars" after a pre-recorded call from the Duggar matriarch started circulating.

On the call, Michelle informs the listener that she is contacting them to let them know about "shocking news that would affect the safety of Northwest Arkansas women and children."

The message continues, "The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes I said men – to use womens and girls restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only. I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls."

"[Her] words reek of ignroance and fear mongering. Just because someone is transgendered doesn't mean they are a child predator or a rapist," the petition explains to TLC, calling for the show itself to be cancelled.

Elder son Josh is also an executive director of the FRC action group, an anti-gay organization.

At the time of this writing the petition has more than 36,000 supporters of their 100,000 supporter goal.
